  • Do I need an account to shop online?
    Yes, we require everyone to have an account in order to place orders online. This is no different then what we currently require from our customers when they call, fax, or email an order to us. Having an account has many benefits such as order tracking, purchase history, and no need to fill in your shipping/billing address everytime you place an order!
  • How do I shop online?
    There are now several ways to find what you need on the Plane Plastics Website:

    Interior Parts - Express Lookup
    1. Select the Make/Manufacturer of your plane from the drop-down list and click 'Submit'.
    2. Select the Model of your plane from the drop-down list and click 'Submit'.
    3. Select the Year/Serial Range of your plane from the drop-down list and click 'Submit'.
    4. Now it's as simple as checking the checkboxes of the parts you want to order and clicking 'Add to Cart'.

    Interior Parts - Normal Website Catalog
    1. Click 'Online Catalogs'.
    2. Click 'Airplane Interior Plastics' or 'Helicopter Interior Plastics'.
    3. Click the 'Make/Manufacturer' of the aircraft.
    4. Click the 'Model' of the aircraft.
    5. Find a part you wish to purchase.
    6. Click on the part to display the pop-up window with the image, price, information, and Add To Cart button.
    7. Click the 'Add to Cart' button to place the part into your shopping cart.
    8. Continue steps 5-7 until you have all the parts you want to order in your cart.
    9. Click 'View cart' in the mini-cart on the page.
    10. From here you can either checkout or add the items to a WishList to order later.

    Accessories - LP Qwik Finder
    1. Select the Make/Manufacturer of your plane from the drop-down list and click 'Submit'.
    2. Select the Model of your plane from the drop-down list and click 'Submit'.
    3. Select the Serial Range of your plane from the drop-down list and click 'Submit'.
    4. Everything you would find in the LP Aero Plastics Catalog for your plane are now displayed in an easy to understand format. Now simply check the box of the item you want to order, select from the available colors, and click 'Add to Cart' at the bottom of the page!

    Accessories - Normal Website Catalog
    1. Click 'Online Catalogs'.
    2. Now you can either select the product from the drop-down list or click on the link to it in the catagories below.
    3. Follow whatever directions are available for adding the accessory to the cart.
    Note: Not all accessories will be setup the same due to the need to format them differently to make it easier for you to order them.

  • Why can't I see the pricing information for the parts?
    When browsing through the catalog, move your mouse cursor over the part that you would like to see information for. Your cursor will turn into a pointing hand, indicating that you can click on that item. IMPORTANT: Press (click) your mouse button ONLY ONCE. A new window will popup with the pricing information and a live image of the part. To continue shopping, either add the item to your cart (the popup window will close) or click on the "close window" link in the bottom of the popup window.

    NOTE: If you have seen the popup window with live image of the part and pricing information for one part but are having trouble getting the window to pop up on other parts, please see the question: Why can I only view the pricing information for one part?
  • Why am I receiving an error when I click on a part?
    Your browser may not be compatible with the Plane Plastics website. Please check the Technical Requirements for shopping on PlanePlastics.com. If your browser meets the technical requirements and you are still having trouble, please contact us at 580-327-1565.
  • Why can I only view the pricing information for one part?
    If you have clicked on a previous part in the catalog and have viewed the live image and pricing information for that part but are not able to see information for additional parts, make sure that you closed the window from the previous part. To do this, look at the very bottom of your screen. If you have two browser windows open, click on the window that is not active to see the popup window. Always be sure to close this window by clicking on the "close window" link at the bottom of the popup window (you may have to scroll to see the link).

  • Why does the popup window say that the part doesn't fit my plane?
    Make sure you are viewing the correct pages in the catalog:
    After you click on your plane and model (for example: Cessna Single Engine > 172/175), the catalog is generally viewed according to model eligibility. In other words, the first few pages of the 172/175 catalog displays parts for the 172A, 172B, and 172C models. To view parts for a 172M, you have to click through the pages until you find that model (page 6). However, some pages group together the parts for all models. For instance, pages 18 and 19 of the 172/175 catalog feature instrument panel overlays for all model 172s.

    Once you are sure that you are viewing the correct pages, compare the model eligibility beside the part you clicked on with the model eligibility in the popup window. If these do not match or you are still unsure about which part to purchase, contact one of our sales specialists at 580-327-1565.

  • How do I register for a Plane Plastics account?
    To register for an online account click on the login tab at the top of the page, then click on the register button and input the information asked of you. Or CLICK HERE to go directly to the registration page. You will have to create a Username and Password, that you will need to remember to open your account in the future.
  • What information does Plane Plastics collect?
    When browsing our website you do so anonymously, unless you have registered for an account or logged in. We do log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) to give us an idea of where user goes in our site and to help us serve you better.

    We do not sell, trade, or rent to others your personal information we collect online.
  • How is the information that Plane Plastics collects used?
    We use the information we have collected for these various reasons:
    Ordering We collect personal information when you purchase products or services. We collect this information to deliver your order, to obtain payment, and to communicate with you about the status of your order.
    Newsletters and promotional e-mails We collect personal information when you ask to receive newsletters, promotional e-mails, and other information. We use this information to provide you the information you request.
  • Why does Plane Plastics collect information?
    Our main goal, when collecting information is to provide customers with superior service and to provide visitors with a smooth, efficient, and personalized experience while using our site. For example, if you purchase products on our site, we use your log-in information to fill your order. We also use non-personal information to analyze customer behavior to help us understand how visitors use our site and to measure interest in the various pages. All personal information we receive when you order or register with us online is not sold or distributed to third-party companies.   • Is my information shared with third party sites?
    Plane Plastics' website contains links to other sites. Plane Plastics does not share your personal information with those websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy policies of those companies.
  • How do I retrieve my password?
    To retrieve your lost or forgotten password click on the "Forgot Password?" link near the bottom of the log-in page. Then enter your Username and the e-mail address you created your account with. After submitting, your password will be e-mailed to that address.
  • How do I update my account information?
    You will be able to change your account information either when you visit your cart after you have registered or you will be able to click on the link "My Account" on the menu.
  • How do I check the status of my order?
    To check the status of your order before it ships, call, fax, or e-mail Plane Plastics. With your name or order confirmation number we can give you the status of your order in a short amount of time.

    Once you have been faxed or e-mailed your Fedex tracking number, you can track your order in the "My Account" section of the Plane Plastics website.
  • How is my credit card charged?
    When you purchase merchandise with your credit card we do not charge your card until the same day your parts are shipped.

    On returned parts, Plane Plastics will reimburse your credit within a few days of receiving your parts. The parts must pass quality control to see if the parts are still in sellable condition before we can credit your account. If there is something wrong with the parts we will notify you of the return decision.
  • How do I order Plane Plastics parts?
    • Orders may be placed by the Internet, fax, phone, or mail.
    • The aircraft make, model, and serial number must be supplied at time of order.
    • Always provide Plane Plastics' part numbers (customer service available) and quantities necessary.
    • Quotes are a service provided, please allow 3-5 days to compile.
    • Supplying visual aids can assist in identifying the parts requested.
    • The customer bears final responsibility for parts orders.
    • FAA Form 8130 provided on foreign shipments only.
  • What if I cancel my order?
    All orders placed and in production will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee.
  • What is Plane Plastics' ordering terms and conditions?
    Domestic
    We accept all major credit cards, money orders, and COD shipments. If paying by company or personal check, checks will be received and cleared (10-14 days) before placement of order.

    Foreign
    Major credit card or wire transfer.
  • What do I do when I receive my parts?
    NOT CUT, MARK, PAINT, OR IN ANY OTHER WAY ALTER THE PART UNTIL YOU COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:
    • Upon receipt of package, note if damaged. See Damaged Merchandise for instructions.
    • Check all parts against packing slip for completeness of order.
    • Check all parts against the original equipment manufacture for correct style and dimension.
    • Hand fit the part in place to ensure the part will function for the proper application.
    • Read the Installation Guidelines provided with the packing slip or on our web site for more details on the final fit and trim of your new replacement parts.
  • What if the merchandise is damaged when it arrives?
    • Shipments received damaged must be brought to the shipper's attention immediately. Plane Plastics must be notified within two days of receipt to insure a proper claim can be made.
    • All packing and boxes materials must be kept for evidence of claim.
  • What is the warranty on Plane Plastics' parts?
    All merchandise is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one year from the date of shipment by Plane Plastics Ltd. to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to any product which has been damaged by accident or which has been misused or repaired. Plane Plastics warrants to the original purchaser that merchandise determined to be defective by Plane Plastics will be replaced when returned to our facility, following return merchandise instructions, during warranty period.

  • What are the shipping rates for my order?
    All Foreign and U.S. Domestic orders will be shipped via Fed-Ex. A customer has the right to make other shipping arrangements, provided arrangement of pickup is within two days of order completion. All orders will be subject to additional charges including but not limited to duties, taxes, fees, and/or extended delivery charges. All additional charges must be paid upon notification or they will be added to your customer account and subject to late fees. All orders that are shipped to or billed to a foreign address must and will be sent with a 8130-3 form (also known as a JAA form one or an "Export Air Worthiness Form").
  • How are international orders shipped?
    International shipping information All International orders will be subject to additional charges including but not limited to duties, taxes, fees, and/or extended delivery charges. All additional charges must be paid upon notification or they will be added to your customer account and subject to late fees. All orders that are shipped to or billed to a foreign address must and will be sent with a 8130-3 form (also known as a JA form or a "Export Air Worthiness Form"). This is required by the FAA and will be paid for by Vantage Plane Plastics at no charge to you. Actual Shipping Charges will apply to all orders.
  • What is Plane Plastics' return policy?
    To return merchandise, a Vantage Plane Plastics representative should be contacted to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) NO PACKAGES ARE ACCEPTED INTO OUR FACILITY WITHOUT A RMA# ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX! Only products currently listed in the catalog without modification will be considered for return. Special order and custom parts are nonreturnable items. The customer is responsible for all costs related to the return of merchandise. When received into our facility, the merchandise must pass the Quality Control Inspection System before disposition of refund or charges can be determined. Authorized returns may be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Customer has 30 days in which to request return of part(s) not accepted and bears the cost of return.
  • How do I make a return or exchange and where do I send it?
    To make a return or an exchange please call Vantage Plane Plastics, at 1-580-327-1565. *If you have dealt with a Vantage Plane Plastics representative with a matter previously, please try to request the same representative every time, especially when dealing with a return or an ongoing order. This will minimize mistakes, speed up processing time, and help us to serve you better.

  • Why aren't the accessories on the CD Catalog?
    Version 2.0 of the CD catalog was the first to include our accessories line. Therefore, if you have version 1.0 or 1.1, your CD catalog will not contain any accessories. If your version of the CD catalog is older than version 2.0, you will need to install a new version of the CD catalog. To request a new CD catalog, click here or call our sales office at (580) 327-1565.

    The latest release of our CD catalog includes most of our accessories; however, you may need to update your CD catalog to view the newest accessories. If you have version 2.0 or newer installed, continue with the question for instructions on how to update your CD catalog.

    Please keep in mind that some accessories become available through the website and our sales office before an update is released for the CD catalog. For the newest available products, please visit the accessories section of our website or call (580) 327-1565 to speak with a sales representative.
  • How do I get the latest version of the CD catalog?
    Check to see what version of the CD catalog you have. If you have version 1.0 or 1.1, request a new CD catalog by clicking here, or call (580) 327-1565. If you have version 2.0 or newer, you can update your CD catalog to get all the latest products and pricing. Updates can be downloaded from Plane Plastics' website as they become available.   • How do I update my version of the CD catalog?
    Check to see what version of the CD catalog you have. If you have version 1.0 or 1.1, request a new CD catalog by clicking here, or call (580) 327-1565. If you have version 2.0 or newer, you can update your CD catalog by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu at the top of your screen and then choose "Check for New Updates".
  • How do I install the CD catalog?
    If you have previously installed an older version of Plane Plastics CD catalog 1.0 or 1.1 and want to upgrade, you must uninstall the older version first. To uninstall the CD Catalog, click on the "Start" button at the bottom of your screen. Then go to the Settings menu and click on "Control Panel". Double-click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon. Next, find the Plane Plastics CD Catalog from your list of programs and highlight it by clicking on it. Then click the Remove/Change button and follow the instructions to remove the program. You are now ready to install the new CD Catalog.

    To install the Plane Plastics CD Catalog insert the disc in your computer and it will automatically begin to install. If you get an error when trying to install, please call (580) 327-1565 to speak with technical support.
  • How do I use the CD Catalog?
    Check to see what version of the CD catalog you have. If you have version 1.0 or 1.1, request a new CD catalog by clicking here, or call (580) 327-1565. If you have version 2.0 or newer, try going through the tutorial and help menus. If you are still having trouble, call (580) 327-1565 for technical support.
  • How do I know which version of the CD catalog I have?
