- FUSELAGE
- Remove an Inspection Cover Plate or Inspection Access
Door on the aft fuselage, (if there is no inspection cover,
the installer must cut a 4' diameter round hole in the
cover, plate, or panel to allow B below),
- Install the Fuselage Vent Assembly, with the louver
openings pointed to the tail in the inspection cover,
plate, or panel,
- C. Install the inspection cover, plate, or panel with
the Fuselage Vent Assembly on the fuselage.
- CABIN
- In the Cabin, remove the rear baggage panel (or shelf)
where the Cabin Vent(s) will be installed.
- Cut Out two round 4" diameter openings in the rear
baggage panel (shelf) to install the Cabin Vent(s),
- Reinstall the panel (or shelf).
You may desire to rotate the louvers slightly, approximately
15° to 20° up at the forward side of the assembly to
retard water entry on tricycle geared aircraft. |
